Privacy Policy

Hide in Game (“the Site”) respects your privacy. This is how we handle information.

1. Information we collect

The Site has no accounts and does not directly collect names or contact details. Game progress (currency, equipment, settings) is stored in your browser (localStorage) and is not sent to our servers. Only if the online weekly ranking is enabled, a randomly generated anonymous ID (UUID), an auto-generated nickname and the weekly score are stored on the ranking server; no names or contact details are included. These records are deleted automatically after about 3 weeks.

For game-specific online leaderboards, we store a randomly generated browser identifier, your nickname, your best score and the time of the record. Weekly records become eligible for automatic cleanup after about five weeks; all-time records are retained to provide the leaderboard. Please do not include your real name or contact details in your nickname.

During online Room Racer matches, your nickname, car color and car position and speed are shared with other players in the room. The game server processes room information temporarily in memory and relays race updates; it does not write this information to persistent game storage.

2. Advertising and cookies

The Site may show third-party ads such as Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and change your choice via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

3. Retention and deletion

Clearing your browser data resets game data. We do not retain it.

4. Children

The Site does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
